Timetables, Hall, Bercy: in Paris, traffic at Gare de Lyon will have an impact on line R

Major works are carried out on the lines of Gare de Lyon, on hall 1. The work, which has already started at night, but will now affect the circulation of trains on the R line, connection Paris to Montereau and Montargis via Melun and usually arriving at this location from the station.

Canceled train bound for Montereau

From Friday 23 September 2022 at the end of the evening and until 10 October 2022 until 6:30, R line trains will depart and arrive from hall 2 mainly from tracks 21 and 23. Attention, warns SNCF, as “Hall 2 will accommodate more trains than usual, track adjustments may still be possible”.

Almost all trains on the line will run. “However, to allow the circulation of a large number of trains with an infrastructure amputated by several tracks, timetables must be adjusted and adapted,” SNCF explains.

During working hours, i.e. from 26 to 30 September and from 3 to 7 October, the train will also be stopped from Monday to Friday. This is a KUMO train that leaves Paris Gare de Lyon and goes to Montereau, leaving at 16:46.

The changes also apply to those who receive TER. They see their departure and arrival station modified as they will be received at Bercy station.

Changes to remember

  • Line R trains will run to and from concourse 2 at Paris Gare de Lyon; mainly lines 21 and 23 from September 23 at 11:30 p.m. to October 10 until 6:30 a.m.
  • Time changes must be expected with times that can be shifted by up to 7 minutes and departures delayed by up to 14 minutes compared to the usual theoretical times.
  • The 16:46 KUMO train to Montereau is canceled Monday through Friday between September 26 and October 7
  • TER trains depart and arrive from Paris Bercy station
  • TER BFC 891016 from Montereau at 7:57 arriving in Paris at 8:48 is cancelled.
  • REMI EXPRESS at 6:20 in Montargis (Nemours at 6:37) and Paris at 18:02 (Nemours at 18:51) does not stop at Nemours station
  • REMI EXPRESS from 7:20 to Montargis (7:37 to Nemours) arriving in Paris at 8:27 and from 17:02 to Bercy (17:52 to Nemours) arriving in Montargis at 18:08 are cancelled.
  • Slowing down at the entrance and exit of Gare de Lyon is possible to allow all trains to pass starting from a more restricted circuit than usual.
