Amorino, the world number one in Italian gelato, settles in the Vendée. In a press release the gourmet brand confirms the establishment of a store in the second city of the Vendée. In Les Sables-d’Olonne, the franchise will tempt the chops of a town whose summer population is estimated at nearly 200,000. So the potential is very important for the brand.

Located at 1, place de la Résistance, on the site of the Cruise Line boutique, in the former Nouvelles Galeries building, the brand new boutique will be open 7 days a week, with a 35-seat tea room and a 50-seat terrace. with breathtaking views of the Palazzo Clementina, the emblematic Villa Remblai and the Atlantic Ocean.

The opening of the franchise is led by businessman Gino Tombini. Now 32 years old, he joined the Amorino network in 2021 by opening his first store in Angers.

Success arrived and he decided to take on a new challenge and settle in Les Sables-d’Olonne.

“When I opened my first store in Angers in 2021, I already had the ambition to have several stores in my head. I was already thinking about Les Sables-d’Olonne, because every year I look forward to coming to this city, which I appreciate, to really enjoy myself. My ambitions quickly accelerated and my results in Angers confirmed my idea to bring our gourmet offer and our concept to Les Sables-d’Olonne. »

Planned recruitment campaign

The recruitment campaign for the future manager will be launched in the coming weeks. The recruitment of the entire team will then take place at the beginning of next year. At the peak of the summer season, Gino Tombini counts dozens of employees.

Work is expected to begin in late 2022, with an expected opening in spring 2023.
