Investigators from the Val-de-Reuil-Louviers police station had some suspicions of possible crack-trafficking in Louviers.
This Thursday, October 27, between 12:00 and 14:00, twenty police officers from the Val-de-Reuil-Louviers police station carried out an anti-drug operation at the Salvation Army building on Avenue Winston Churchill in Louviers.
Placed in custody
The policemen, accompanied by a dog from the canine department dealing with narcotics, raided the premises and searched the common areas of the building. A significant amount of drugs were found: heroin, cocaine, cannabis (grass and resin) and crack.
The police suspected a 40-year-old individual from Lisieux.
The man, who is well known to the police and justice services, has been hosted by the Salvation Army in Louviers since his release from prison and was placed in police custody for organizing a crack and draft distribution network.
