Sleeve. Two Red Cross volunteers awarded for ‘their dedication’

From them volunteers de la Manche were honored by the National President Red Cross early October 2022. Philippe Da Costa, National President of the French Red Cross, visited Calvados during the association’s regional cohesion weekend, which took place in the grounds of the city’s castle Caen.

During his visit, he was then able to present two awards to two volunteers from the Channel Territorial Delegation, Jérôme Gohin and Daniel Rihouet, to reward them “for their dedication and performance within the association”.

“All La Manche volunteers are rewarded”

Among the winners, Jérôme Gohin, the current president of the Channel delegation, won a silver medal. He has been a Red Cross volunteer for more than ten years. Before his position as president, he became involved in the association as first aid then he became exhead of department, local president and now president of the Channel Territorial Delegation.

Daniel Rihouet was also decorated with a bronze medal of the French Red Cross for these years of work as first assistant and treasurer of the local unit Pays Saint-Lois.

Through these differences, it is also “all the volunteers in La Mancha who are rewarded because they make many training courses and other humanitarian operations possible, it is work that is done manually among people. president and other volunteers”.
