According to Amandine Vachez
It’s an animation-rich weekend announced for Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 October 2022in the metropolis of Lille (North). And for good reason, weekend falls in full during All Saints’ Day ! Here are some trip ideas spotted by the editors this week.
Fun events in shopping centers
During each school holiday period, the region’s shopping centers offer entertainment for the whole family. On All Saints Day you can look forward to:
Good deals to be had
In addition to the flea markets planned in the area for this weekend (here we list those from the north and there those from Pas-de-Calais), a great barter is announced this Saturday in Wazemmes, organized by the company Adopte une secondhand clothes. . A chance to wear clothes you no longer wear and find nuggets at the same time!
Outdoor entertainment and family games
These are the last times you can enjoy outdoor entertainment in the area. Outdoor activities are still open, in the citadel of Lille, but only for a few days. You can still visit the animals at Lille Zoo, have fun at the Cita Parc attractions – switched to Halloween mode this holiday – and try tree-climbing courses in the small grove adjacent to the ramparts.
Accro Lille also offers its last night session of the season, on Halloween night. You’ll be able to play acrobats in height… in disguise once night falls. An experience that promises to be unforgettable. Note that during this period many structures will go into “winter” mode. Find out about offers in your area!
If you prefer to stay inside, know that there are many leisure activities available in the metropolis: escape games and quizzes in Lille, but also Koezio and its numerous activities in Villeneuve-d’Ascq or even the Prison Island in Lesquin… Let’s not forget the Climbing Walls of Arkos , trampolines or even classic lasergames and bowling alleys…
Celebrate with friends!
If Halloween doesn’t officially happen until Monday, October 31st, there will be some fun already this weekend. For example, a park in Lesquin will host a “scary fiesta” for teenagers on Saturday after dark.
This Sunday you can also taste the famous Bièreaubeurre d’Harry Potter at Wizard’s Shop Lille, among other activities. An experience that promises to be very special!
The Lille Tourist Office is organizing two evening visits to the Belfry of Lille, including this Saturday 29 October, with terrifying guests… The chance to enjoy an exceptional view while enjoying the festive season, with bonus treats of course!

Shows, parties and concerts
As far as shows go, the weekend agenda is well stocked. In addition to classic comedies at La Boite à Rire, The Spotlight or Comédie de Lille, you have an appointment with:
- two film music concerts (Harry Potter“Echoes of the Little Sorcerer” at 4 p.m., then around Japanese animated films, “Echoes of the Rising Sun 2” at 8 p.m.) on Saturday, October 29 at Sébasto;
- Laura Cal, which presents her show “En grand”, for which she released a special video for her visit to Lille. Passes at 8pm at Splendid;
- thaiin concert at the Zénith de Lille on Saturday at 8 p.m.
There will also be a festive atmosphere in the Orangerie, which hosts a great fiesta! Last one before closing at the end of the weekend. Other bars and clubs are offering special Halloween nights this weekend, including La Canopée in Lille this Saturday night. Find out about your favorite nightlife spots!
Make a canvas or a museum
This season, which is slowly starting to shorten and the days are getting colder, is perfect for a visit to the cinema or a museum.
The cinema program is quite rich during these holidays. There are several buildings to look out for in this area: Kinepolis de Lomme to make the most of it, UGC (Lille and Villeneuve), Majestic and Métropole in downtown Lille, Hybride for its European Sci-Fi Film Festival, Pont des Arts in Marcq…
A civic film festival is also taking place in Lille this week. It is organized by the Catholic University of Lille and offers a rich program during the weekend.
In addition to the permanent collections, the museum also offers temporary exhibitions:
Modern art is highlighted at LaM in Villeneuve-d’Ascq, which offers a beautiful walk through its gardens, as well as the famous and unique Villa Cavrois…
As a family, we recommend you try the Science Forum and its fun exhibitions suitable for all ages. The offer is complemented by a planetarium for pleasant moments spent with the family.
Here’s something to inspire you!
