In this Seine-et-Marne village, the doctor is consulted remotely

In need doctorsafter retiring that day Mary-sur-Marnethe Pays de l’Ourcq community installs medical teleconsultation booth. The Pays de l’Ourcq health center is developing thanks to joint work with Department of Seine-et-Marne and service provider H4D (Health For Development), an expert company in the field of clinical telemedicine.

Located on the ground floor of the Jean-Didier Pyramid in Mary-sur-Marne, it will be accessible from Wednesday 2 November 2022 several days a week: Tuesday and Wednesday all day and Friday morning.

How to make an appointment?

Patients who want to teleconsult a doctor must make an appointment on the website imedians.comand use activation code CD77. The meeting is also possible by phone at 01 70 81 49 46.

The slot will be available for booking from Monday 31 October 2022.

These people must bring their Vitale card and the code they received by message on the day of the remote consultation. Referent present in the pyramid will help you connect with a doctor. He will ultimately guide his patient during the consultation.

Complete remote examination

Thanks fully equipped connected cabin, “the doctor observes the patient’s actions and converses with him via video communication. It performs a complete clinical examination: measurement of blood pressure, weight and temperature, measurement of height and oxygen saturation, ENT and skin examination or even auscultation of the heart,” explains the Pays de l’Ourcq community of communes.

At the end of the meeting the device prints the recipe and a doctor’s note. Finally, the website provides the patient with access to an online portal where they can track their health progress.

This system has already been tested in other towns in Seine-et-Marne, including Chelles. The cabin was installed there in late 2020.
