The 27E edition of Equi Pondi begins this Thursday, October 27, 2022 at 10 a.m. More than 2000 riders are expected for competition for the Show jumping during two weekends in the Safire hall in Pontives (Morbihan). More than a hundred volunteers will be on board the only indoor amateur-po in Brittany.

The first competition weekend takes place from Thursday 27 to Sunday 30 October 2022 and will welcome 1,200 amateur riders from clubs in the Grand-Ouest, no less than 400 horses, including 260 horses that will be stabled on site. Power test from Saturday night.

The following weekend, from Thursday November 3 to Sunday November 6, 2022, the place for professionals “with a dozen pro-elite competitions for around 750 starters”, specifies the first representative Michel Jarnigon. Saturday night power test. “It’s about jumping as high as possible. Last year, the bar was raised to 1.90 m for amateurs, 2.15 m for professionals! reports Thomas Clivio.

New this 27E edition: a village with around ten exhibitors will be opened around the warm-up paddock.

Practical information: Équi Pondi, from Thursday 27 to Sunday 30 October (amateurs) and from Thursday 3 to Sunday 6 November (professionals), at the Pontiva fairgrounds. Prices for the first weekend: €5 per day, €10 for a three-day pass. Prices for the second weekend: EUR 10 per day; €15 for a two-day season ticket. On-site catering with a traditional Lions club oyster bar, creperie, Saint-Servant-sur-Oust restaurateur and refreshments run by the Trévé association.
