Haute-Savoie: rail strike continues on Léman Express

The strikers are demanding a cost premium of 300 euros gross per month.

Léman Express railway workers on the French side in Haute-Savoie are on strike from Monday 24 October 2022. Traffic is interrupted at least until Friday 28 October and indefinitely. Several trains were deleted. “On Swiss territory, Léman Express trains run according to the timetable up to Annemasse,” SNCF explains.

Cost premium of 300 euros gross per month

Replacement buses have been set up for the 60,000 people who ride the Léman Express every day. Stops in Annecy, Annemasse, La Roche-sur-Foron, Saint-Gervais and Switzerland.

The strikers are demanding a cost premium of 300 euros gross per month. The FO union is calling for the strike to continue until this entitlement is won.
