Now traditional pumpkin party will return to Abbeville (Somme) instead of Max-Lejeune this Saturday, October 29, from 2 to 6 p.m.
The afternoon will be festive with fishing for pumpkins, the possibility of sowing with Feather gardenersa make-up stand or a tasting of pumpkin-based culinary preparations, especially with the restaurateur “Picardière”.
Animation director, childhood and youth Baie de Somme urban community will welcome children to the heart of the “Dia de los muertos” village with a fun course that will allow participants to collect decorative elements during the events and decorate the pumpkins they receive on arrival.
Among the novelties of this 2022 edition: a costume contest Witch, vampire, skeleton, ghost, zombie… Whatever goes, be creative and consider using clothes and accessories buried deep in the closets.
Emonville Gardens Night and Haunting Tour
For the more daring, a night visit is organized at your own risk. Participants will be able to visit Emonville Gardens and Carmel at dusk, from 6 to 10 p.m. If you are in the mood for excitement, take part in this night walk organized by young people from the Espaces Jeunes community of the agglomeration and the Prélude toy library.
Conditions for this night walk: be over 12 years old. Children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult, wear sports clothes and have a headlamp. Registration with the direction of animation, childhood and youth at 03 22 20 19 35.
