It’s a big change in Béguey. Tabac-presse-loto de Béguey, run by Séverine and Francis Delage for 23 years, has just changed hands. The Delage family, famous in Cadillac land, sold their business to a young couple.

Young couple at the helm

Today at the helm we find Francisco Dialutanto and Pascal Pinçon, two natives of Bordeaux. Customers could read a small white poster that read “change of ownership” hung on drawn curtains from October 6. The reason? It was enough to complete a few formalities at the notary and the business could reopen its doors on Monday, October 10.

At the reopening, loyal customers flocked, freed from their little habits for four days, so they booked a great welcome from Francisca and Pascal who were delighted with this intense first day full of encounters.

Total life change

“Although we worked in Bordeaux, we lived in a house near Fargues-Saint-Hilaire. I was C-Discount’s customer relations manager for ten years and my partner Pascal was a tram controller in Bordeaux for 15 years. We have two children aged 9 and 13,” explains Francisca.

Young buyers say:

One day we sold our house in Fargues-Saint-Hilaire to open a business in a rural area. We actually bought the business.

Maria, ever present

Francisca and Pascal settled on the commercial floor. Sudden life change. “We now live on the first floor of the complex, right above our shop. We have kept Maria, who has already worked here, who has been and will continue to serve customers,” Francisca and Pascal declare in unison.

This new professional activity is presented under the best auspices for young couples who provide the public with the same services as before: selling newspapers, magazines, stamps and books. There are also tobacco sales, scratch games and the inevitable lotto, and there is also a pick-up point and a coffee corner where you can have a drink.
