The Commander Hébert Stadium in Deauville has been alive to the rhythm of the Ghana selection since its Monday evening (September 19, 2022). Partners André and Jordan Ayew, former Olympique de Marseille players, remain at the Côte Fleurie until Sunday (September 25, 2022). A meeting not just for fun as the Ghanaians take on Brazil in Le Havre on Friday, September 23, 2022. Ghana’s focus now is on the World Cup, where they will face Portugal (November 24, 2022), South Korea (November 28, 2022) and Uruguay (December 2, 2022) in the first round.

Session 90 minutes

Late on Wednesday afternoon (September 21, 2022), the elected representatives of Trouville (David Revert and Catherine Vattier) but also Deauville (Philippe Béhuet) officially welcomed Ghana’s selection. The players of Otto Addo, the coach of Ghana, then went through 90 minutes with a tactical set-up to start, then a long thirty-minute warm-up with a little muscle strengthening. The session progressed with a few accelerations, then a pre-game passing session at the end of the half-court session with corners, standard figures… all in an atmosphere where smiles were part of it.
