Fight narcotics. Serial arrests in Argenteuil and Bezons

Three hits made during the same day in Argenteuil and Bezons (Val-d’Oise) for so much traffickers narcotics suspect arrested on October 11.

On that day, field police and investigators from the narcotics group of the Argenteuil police station set up a surveillance device on Salvador Allende Promenade in Argenteuil, a commercial location listed as C.narcotics operational intelligence cell (Go over). Shortly before 5:00 p.m., they arrested the buyer with the narcotic substances.

A few minutes later, the alleged seller was arrested with 10 g of cannabis resin and 130 euros in cash.

Imprisonment and obligation to leave the territory

At the end of their police custody, the two individuals, aged 21 and 24, were produced for immediate arraignment on October 13 before the Pontois Criminal Court. If the buyer of foreign origin was the subject of a criminal order aa Obligation to leave French territory (Oqtf), the seller was sentenced to 12 months in prison.

Also in Argenteuil, at the corner of rue Romain-Rolland and rue Gustave-Courbet, a place also known for drug dealing, another police team witnesses an exchange of products between a suspected drug dealer and a buyer riding a scooter.

At the sight of police, both suspects fled on foot. Only the individual who abandoned his scooter is arrested. The latter was found with 28 sachets of packaging and 67 g of cannabis resin. The 18-year-old was placed in a police cell and assured that it was for his personal consumption. He was released from trial on 24 November.

Strong smell of cannabis

In the neighboring town of Bezons, the police carried out an operation in the town of Sycomores, a hub of the drug trade, around 20:00. Upon entering building number 1, officers make it to the floors when they are drawn to the strong smell of cannabis coming from an apartment located in number 7, a residence that was already subject to a search from a previous operation. on April 26.

While police arrested the youth, officers found a shoulder bag thrown from a 7th-floor window at the base of the building, which contained 470g of resin and plant cannabis.

The alleged 18-year-old trafficker, who lives in Argenteuil, was immediately brought before the criminal court in Pontoise on 13 October. Since the hearing was adjourned to November 10, he was placed under judicial supervision until the verdict.
