The hospital is live: call 15
“Due to particularly persistent activity in the adult and pediatric emergency departments, Le Havre Hospital Group (GHH) activated its system “hospital under voltage” (level 1 of the white plan) with the aim of facilitating the reorganizations necessary to ensure that all patients can be cared for in the best possible conditions”, they write GHH, Ormeaux Clinic and Estuaire Private Hospital in a press release.
All three health facilities are organizing together to deal with the tense situation, especially due to the early outbreak of bronchiolitis.
Hospitals are also appealing to users, asking them “not to go to the emergency room but call 15 for prior medical advice.
If you do not call the emergency department before your arrival, you will be asked to call 15 on arrival to possibly be directed to the most appropriate structure.
Limit the systematic use of emergencies
This call is also part of the mechanism Access to care servicewhich is intended to reduce the systematic (and sometimes unnecessary) use of hospital emergency services.
“Whatever your problem, call and we’ll find a solution. The right care at the right place at the right time,” it summed up Dr. Francis Le Sire last august “For 30% of calls, a simple tip can be the solution. »
