OnEcomuseum Cuzals in Sauliac-sur-Célé, not far away Cahors in Dosenext autumn festival will be held on Sunday, September 25, 2022from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
AND Plant Barter will be organized with free access, with Cuzals plant cuttings for visitors to take and exchange.
On display are examples of know-how: baking, plant dyeing, basketry, printing…
Games, autumn tastings…
During the day you can play: blind test, schmilblick (object recognition).
You can also take part in seasonal activities: apple pressing in the orchard followed by apple juice tasting; log workshop inoculated with fungi.
You can also go on an ethnobotanical walk and taste dishes based on autumn fruits and plants. The menu mainly includes soup tastings: several “chefs” will prepare soup with mysterious ingredients. Visitors will taste and will have to get to know the author of the preparation.
The show by Brother Arth from Saint-Côme will be played twice during the afternoon. And to end the day with music, Shamade Swing Trio will provide the atmosphere.
