12. Lounge Street of crafts will be held on October 28, 29 and 30, 2022 at Nontron, in the green Périgord. Every year, around thirty creators of fine craftsmanship will present their new collections and demonstrate their know-how and creativity.

The strict selection is based on the official nomenclature of crafts and emphasizes the perfection of gestures, the nobility of materials, the rigor of surface treatments and impeccable aesthetics. Rue des artistic careers represents a creator with exceptional know-how.

Among them, 18 premiere exhibitors, artistic cutters, sculptors on paper or ceramics with very personal worlds, a wood turner combining tradition and modernity, a trendy and ethical stylist, a refined jeweler, a leather worker, a shade maker, an engraver or even an angora wool producer…

They come from New Aquitaine, but also from Haute-Loire, Rhône, Ariège, Haute-Garonne or Paris. Of course, the members of the cluster will also have their place this year.

Know-how and shops

and Nontron Center for Arts and Crafts, the organizer of the show, aims to promote the development of the industry. He thus invites the Campus of Crafts and Qualifications in Leather, Textile, Fashion and Luxury in New Aquitaine to come and present training in these skills. Another important exhibitor: the publishing house Citadelles et Mazenod will present its artworks.

At the show, the public will find works of art, unique pieces or small series from the fields of decoration, fashion and tableware. A range of skills and materials will be represented: paper sculpture, ceramics, weaving, engraving, feather goods, basketry, leather goods, cutlery, blown and engraved glass, textile creation, jewellery, etc.

The workshops will enable young and old alike to become familiar with this highly technical know-how. Finally, the show takes place in the city with workshops and shops open to the public and the Boutique Métiers d’Art, which took place in rue Carnot during the restoration work on the château.
