Sick for several months Francois Huve leave us Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at the age of 68. His passing will leave a great void Andelys (Euros), but also within the ranks of society UV Boudeville.

“He was a human guy”

In 1976, François Huvé took over the family business specializing in roofing, load-bearing structures, insulation and restoration inherited from his grandfather and then his father.

Alain Boudeville worked alongside him for over thirty years before taking over in March 2019.

“I entered his house at the age of 14 in pre-apprenticeship. When I was 18, I left to work elsewhere. Although we parted angrily, he agreed to take me back on the condition that I do a professional certificate”.

Alain Boudeville says more about the businessman he was.

“François believed a lot in training, he trained young people to keep them. And he did not hesitate to raise apprentices. He opened his mouth occasionally, but it didn’t last. He was always there for me. He was human.”

In addition to passing on his business, François Huvé also passed on his work ethic and high standards. “He was picky on the construction sites. He was able to dismantle and rebuild if he was not satisfied”.

He was in all the fights

But François Huvé was also a committed man who did not hesitate to show his positions on environmental issues. Only sometimes crossing the yellow line.

The one who was the president of the “Sortir dunuclear 27” and the “Association for the Defense of the Gambon Valley” (ADVG) was in all the fights: the Terralys Composting Platform in Cuverville, the Val-Saint-Martin Wash, the Farm of 1000 Cows in Houlbec-Cocherel, the industrial geological storage center (Cigéo) in Bure (Meuse).

He recently stood by the tenants of the Levant district to defend their rights and oppose the destruction of the towers by the landlord Mon Logement 27.

François Huvé, who has been retired since 2019, dreamed of sailing the waves aboard a boat he was repairing. But the illness did not give him time. He lost his last fight.

The editors of L’Impartial send their sincere condolences to his children and loved ones.

The final tribute will be paid to François Huvé during a religious service on Friday, October 28, 2022 at 2:30 p.m. at the Church of Saint-Sauveur in Petit-Andely. His burial will follow at Val Cléry Cemetery.
