New treatments for hair loss could soon be developed thanks to a scientific breakthrough by Japanese scientists.
According to IFOP survey in 2015, 13% of French people reported suffering from baldness. In most men, because while only 2% of women are affected, baldness affects one in four men (25%).
If hair loss remains a sensitive topic, scientists may have found a solution to overcome it. To this end, Japanese scientists studied the growth and pigmentation processes of hair follicles. For this discovery, scientists relied on a recent technique, organoid culture.
