A few facial exercises to get rid of a double chin

For some of us, it is very difficult to see our double chin in front of a mirror or in a photograph. Fortunately, there are some simple exercises to tone your face.

Stick out your tongue

Lift your head, lower your shoulders and keep them flexible. Then stick your tongue out as far as possible with your mouth wide open. This brings your jaw closer to your neck and tones the lower part of your face to reduce the double chin.

Open and close your mouth

Sit down. Keep your back straight and relax your shoulders. Open and then close your mouth about ten times until you feel tension in your neck and chin muscles.

Pump your fists

Stand up straight. Open your mouth and press down on the underside of your chin with the flat of your fist. Apply pressure with your hands and try to push your fist as low as possible by opening your mouth. Do this ten times until you feel tension in the area. This works on the muscles of the lower face.

Lower lip muscle

With your head up, pretend you are trying to touch your nose with your bottom lip. Slide it over your upper lip, hold the position for a moment, then release.
Do this 5 to 10 times.

Say the letters “X” and “O”

When sitting, keep your back straight and your shoulders relaxed. Next, pronounce the letters X and O, exaggerating the pronunciation. You will quickly feel the work of the muscles on your chin and cheeks. Do five to ten sets.

Open and close your mouth

Still sitting, keep your back straight, relax your shoulders. Tilt your head back until you feel that your neck is stretched as much as possible. Then open and close your mouth ten times until you feel tension in your throat and chin.
