A blind MP makes a particularly remarkable intervention in the assembly

On Wednesday, October 26, the representative of the National Assembly (RN), José Beaurain, spoke in the meeting hall using Braille text. Having lost his sight from congenital glaucoma in 2008, the far-right elected official is the first blind MP to be elected under the Fifth Republic.
