Britney Spears and Demi Lovato Joins ‘X-Factor’ Panel of Judges

At last, the long wait of whose going to sit with Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid as one of the ‘X-Factor’ judges this season are… Demi Lovato and Britney Spears.

“It’s taken a year to get to where we’ve gotten today,” Cowell said, “and I am thrilled to be able to confirm, as you can see, the return of L.A. Reid, the addition of Demi Lovato and the superstar Britney Spears.” Lovato and Reid were the most visibly excited about the announcement, with Reid riling up the crowd and Lovato grinning from ear to ear and waving to the audience.

I am not really watching ‘X-Factor’ but since Demi Lovato joins the team, I might consider taking a peek of the show.

Well, I’m not a fan but once I liked the lyrics of any song, of course with the rhythm, it will be added to my favorite song lists.

Ohhh… I got an idea! I should make a category menu with all the songs I love. Will start on it next week, so many pending tasks today I need to finish first.

Hollie Cavanagh Voted Off from American Idol

One of American Idol’s powerhouse, Hollie Cavanagh, has been voted off on May 10′s elimination night. She and Phillip Phillips are in bottom two.

You can see that she’s grown in the show, talent-wise, but she still have issues on connecting right emotions in the songs she’s picked all through out the season. She had a couple of performances where she really hit them right, but I guess she still needs more time to mature in the business.

All in all, we know that she’s a talented young woman, and record deals will definitely come to her way. ^_^

Another LSS for me, I watched American Idol last night, (it’s already dawn so last night ^_^) and when I heard Joshua Ledet’s and Phillip Phillips duet on this song it made me want to search Maroon 5′s music video and post it here.

As I am watching the music video, I can’t seem to like Adam Levine’s look now than before. It seems there’s a huge difference! ^_^

A Car Blessing

One of hubby’s friends has purchased a new SUV car two weeks ago. It is now the family’s 2nd car. And since his parents are always grateful with what they have, they are asking the parish priest to bless the car tomorrow. Now, hubby is thinking what he can give as gift since, I think, we were the first passengers of the SUV. We used it on our road trip to Tagaytay last week. ;-)

I suggested that hubby to give his friend a car leather cleaner, which I assume is not that expensive. Better remind hubby to buy it today, because tomorrow will be the day the Everest will be blessed.

Hm… when will be the day that I’ll get my own car to be blessed?!?! ^_^

Beastie Boy, Adam Yauch, Dies at 47

The founding member, Adam Yauch, of the famous hip-hop group, Beastie Boys, back in the late 1980′s has died yesterday in New York after battling cancer for almost three years.

Adam Yauch, also known as MCA, along with his bandmates, Mike D (Michael Diamond) (vocals, drums) and Ad-Rock (Adam Horovitz) (vocals, guitar), were inducted as into the Rock and Hall of Fame last month.

The music industry is mourning for another loss of the industry’s great music pioneer.

Condolence to Adam Yauch family, our prayers goes out with you. Adam Yauch you will be missed!
